I'm unsure about this film. The whole general idea sounds good about hunting Bin Laden because I absolutely love all that stuff, But idk the whole female CIA Operative who is attractive seems a bit to cliche to me. But I would love to be proved wrong.

I really liked it too. They did a great job considering everyone knows what's going to happen, but still it's quite suspenseful.

I think that the plotline is very interesting, and the Osama hunting scene is a masterpiece. The viewer is steady and thrilled during the whole picture, the directing is very precise and it gives the story a good rythm. Jessica Chastain does a decent job -she does have some amazing scenes, like when she starts screaming at boss.
However, I think that the ending, the last shot doesn't quite live up to the lack of the personal and human touch of the rest of the film. I mean, Maya has been in the CIA for twelve years looking for OBL, and once he's dead... what's she up to do or feel? Pride? Desperation? It could easily be both. But, in no part of the film she's shown talking to a relative, or sad because she's more than single. I think that a wider showcase of Maya's personal perspective on the events -rather than the professional perspective used in the movie- would make it a richer tale and a much more touching one.
It is a very exciting thriller, though.

Duuuuuuuude, I loved it! In my opinion, this movie will be remembered throughout 2013 we'll definitely be seeing references to it later on in the year. Kathryn Bigalow should really become a household name in movie recognition :p
