Hey guys, I just found out the 3DS can be jailbroken to allow of playing homebrew from the SD card aswell as other features, of anyone has information about this, or finds something, please let me know. I'm doing research on my end aswell and i'm finding several things. I'll report back with any updates I find.

I have a 3DS and haven't done any modding/jailbreaking etc on it. Apparently Nintendo release updates which brick all past softmods, so there's no way I'm even attempting.

Also, the End User License Agreement allows them to "brick" your console (by removing all their copyrighted software from it, including the firmware) if you mod it.

Since the 3DS can legally do pretty much everything you would want it to (Virtual Console, Apps, etc.) why do you want to "jailbreak" it? Don't be a jerk and pay for the games you play!

the only reason I want to jailbreak it is to play the minecraft homebrew for DS and watch movies on it when i'm on the go. Other than that I have no use for jailbreaking.
If I had my DSi still I would have probably jail broken that by now.
