My best friend who is like a sister to me did something really scary. She told me she thought she had a demon. I was talking to her online and she started typing in the third person. It was like to completly opposite people talking. One was the normal her and the other... even sounded demonic. It would speek in the thrid person like "**** hates herself and thinks she doesn't deserve any of her friends." Then my friend would say things like "Oh $hit she won't shut up she's lying don't listen to her." The things the "demon was saying got so bad I ended up calling 911 saying I was scared my friend was about to kill herself. I honestly believe it wasn't her saying these things, at least not the her that's my best friend. Is this some sort of bipolar disorder or split-personality? She also said her demon makes her hurt heself as in punching walls so hard she breaks her hand and kicking lockers so hard they can't be undented. I want to know what this is so I can help if her alter ego comes out again. Whatever I was talking to sounded like it seriously wanted to hurt her or even kill her.

she might have that disease called schizophrenia where she hears vioces in her head, the only best way i can tell you is to take her to a theropist and tell her mother that she needs some medication....srry to say but if none of those work she might have to go to a home for a while

I ended up calling 911 on her friday night. She says she has the 6th sence and can hear/see/feel spirits. Is that another sign of schizophrenia?

I'm scared for her. She needs help for whatever it is and refuses to get it. With a teachers help we kinda hinted at her about schizophrenia and she did admit that she has thought about it in the past but she's still convinced on the demon thing.

You really do need to get her the medical help that she needs but many people don't want to believe they have a mental illness. I think you should talk to her parents and come with a way of getting her to understand that she may have s.......Also if you feel the need that you need to call 911 don't hold back the last thing you would want is her killing herself.

Can you tell her parents? She'll hate you for it, but she sounds like if she's actually having issues, she really needs help, and if for some bizarre reason she's pretending to, she needs help as well.

I called 911 and Im gonna assume they told her parents. If not I have no way of contacting them and have never met them.
