Ok, I view this web site with Firefox. And all the time, all of the new message signal thingys go out. So i cant tell where there is a new message. This happenes all the time. Does anyone else have this problem? is there anyway to fix it?

I don't know what's going wrong with Firefox, mine aswell is screwing up. I don't know the error that you are having, but I have plenty that I can go into depth with.

Yeah, some html entities don't go with each browser. So basically, one thing could be showing up in IE, but not in firefox.

Some things like a glow effect will only work in IE and not FF

Try using the same site with Internet Explorer. Some sites just don't like Firefox :( . MTV fo example, requires a windows plug-in, so you can only view it with Internet Explorer.
PS- Okay why the hell is my signature not working? Do I need to be a member for a longer time or something?

You change your signiture in your profile, not on the actual post.
Whats happening with me is all of a sudden all of those new message indicators will just disapear. pisses me off. And i randomly get signed off.

its probably refreshing the cookies...
each time I close IE (terminate the session) and go back to vt - even though im still logged in - all of the new post icons disappear.... i think that phpBB needs to fix something in the cookies...
anyway, theres also a bug with vt's forum and vt's chat room, so dont be logged onto both at the same time, or u might have errors like what uve described...

eh, it happens on and off, usually when one session expires or when one logs off and the other stays on

Son of a bitch. Now my IE is doing it.
So is it a non-fixable problem kiros?

I think mine is doing the same thing nwshc. Everytime i log on with firefox, all the new message things are there but when i read one of the new posts by clicking on the yellow thing beside the topic and go back to the forum index they are gone. Sorry if that's kinda unclear but its kinda hard to word. It's just recently started happening so i dunno if its the browser or the site.
