Okay guys, while creating a new world in minecraft I get a bunch of white lines going accrossed the screen, I've been getting these issues ever since I installed a Graphics card driver that was showing up in the missing drivers window. and after uninstalling it the issues seemed to die down, but now they're back and ts very difficult to get into the boot menu so I can boot from the external ATA hardrive I've been using. anyone know what might be going on?

Is the card fully pressed in the PCI slot? When I got my new build setup the graphics card wasn't in all the way, just barely out of the slot (not noticeable from outside) and just pushing it in hard fixed it. Make sure none of the flat metal pins are broken off or anything. If you're updating drivers through Windows, don't. Make sure you're downloading them directly through the card manufacturers website.

Well if he is using PCI, chances are it's fried lol... how old is the card?
Could be a bad driver... do you have another pc to put it in?
