Does anyone do Yoga or Crossfit? I'm pretty interested in trying them out but I'm not sure. What have been your experiences with them? How much stronger/healthier did it make you?
Thanks

i've only tried crossfit once, but i loved it. and i would of kept going, but i still got my gym membership and i don't feel like start working out 9 times/week.
if you want to become healthier i think crossfit would be a great way to do so.

They can both be fine, be careful with Crossfit however. The way that many people train in Crossfit is simply dangerous and I have seen way too many people get hurt quite easily in their training and competitions.
I recommend just doing normal weight training instead of Crossfit.

I have inconsistently done yoga before -- I've done "hot yoga" too. It's worth it if you stick with it. I felt more balanced, a little more flexible and healthier. I noticed improvements in my posture as well. I didn't stick with it for very long but I wish I did. I've had the intention of sticking with it again -- I just need to go out and do it :P I would definitely recommend yoga if you're interested.

I personally like yoga for improving fitness level. In past I also joined yoga classes continuously. Yoga is so much more than just physical exercise, though. The key to getting the best out of each pose is to focus not only on your body, but also on your mind and breathing.

There is a LOT of criticism of crossfit. Most of the trainers are not certified or qualified, the guy who created the workouts does not even do them himself and is overweight. Olympic weightlifting was not meant to be done as a daily exercise.
Yoga is awesome. Bikram is a little intense, I've going to a place with my mom and doing basic stuff and really enjoy it.
