Period problems

So my periods have never be regular
I've always had something go wrong every month
I have been on the pill, IUD,and depo shot
Anyways.......
I started spotting this past Tuesday
My period was already 7 days past due but when it finally came it wasn't normal
I was barely bleeding and the blood started out as pink, then orange, than brown. Normally when my period starts the first 3 days are pure hell of pain and heavy bleeding. Anyways I stopped basically spotting 2 days ago an now just an hour ago I took on cramps..... Strange I'm going on day 6 of my cycle
And so I just went pee to check for blood and sure enough I am bleeding :$ but its real blood this time.
Idk how long it'll last this time whether it will subside or then into a full fledged river of death.

So anyways what's your input
Is this normal?
Has this happened to you?
What could be wrong?

And incase anybody asks "yes" I am sexually active and I don't use protection

Mine were very messed up as well when i was 13 and 14 but after getting on the pill everything has been ok. I recommend you tell all this to your Doctor if you haven't already and i have heard that the IUD has had problems in this area. your problem may be caused by a more serious condition and the only way to find out is to see a doctor
