..but I'd like to give it a shot again.
I know a lot of VT members have Steam. And I think it'd be nice if we could have a VT Steam group for members to just..hang out and play games. I'm willing to keep a sharp eye on it, and I can set it to invite only so the members would have to PM me their names, and I can invite them. I will take full responsibility for it if it's allowed.

I'm against this. As with basically anything along these lines, it just isn't the point of VT. It seems cool, but just not for VT.
I mean nothing's really stopping you from making your own group and inviting your VT friends and them inviting theirs and so on, yeah? I don't see why it has to be official, or why it would need to.

I'm a tad worried that I could get in trouble for it, since it technically is offsite contact. I'm also not sure if anyone would even be interested.

As long as you don't ask for the usernames on VT how could you get in trouble for offsite contact? People start skype groups yeah? People probably have played xbox together right? etc. Nothing could stop you as long as it doesn't take place on VT..

I like this idea and if it works out I'd be happy to join.
