well first off how old are you>
because there is something called doctor-patient confidentiality
basically the doc wont tell your parents unless you tell them
if your doc asks about the scars just be honest and tell him/her the truth
you shouldnt really be too worried.

You could always ask if you can see the doctor without your parents in the room. As for your arms, you could use liquid foundation. I saw my doctor with cuts on me and she didn't say anything. Doctors see a lot of things, so don't worry.

Yup - this. As long as you're over 14 (in the US that is), your doctor really can't tell your parents without your permission. Make sure you tell him/her that you don't want them to tell your parents, that it's the law, etc. It might be helpful. However, note that if you're under 18 and you're getting shots, your parent has to be in the room with you.
You could always try makeup or bracelets; those are your best options, although they might make you take off the bracelets for exams, so makeup is really the best/only. Unless you want to be honest about it, which in the end is the best. My doctor knowing, and having someone who cared but couldn't tell my parents was nice.

Good luck <3

My advise is to let the doctor know about it. Usually it's easier to let a pro know about it and them let them tell your parents. i know it's hard, but it's really better that way. If you go to the doctor, you have to be honest. It'll never get better if you never let out with the secrets :) Sure everyone keeps secrets, and some even from themselves( I'm an expert on that >.>) , but it's really better for you and you future life if you tell them. You don't even have to tell your friends, your mom will understand, after all, this kind of thing isn't that uncommon, even if it is sad :(

I was worrying about that to a couple of months ago

but I think you should try tell your parents I'm sure they will appreciate your honesty.
but tell your most relaxed or more accepting parent.
