There's this boy in my class. The other day I was very emotional at my grandfather's passing and i just blurted it all out to him. How the poem I wrote for a valentines contest was about him and he was like, OK.

I asked " If i asked you out, would you go out with me" he said maybe.

The day after in school he ignored me. I don't really know what to do. Confront him? Ask him out?

I agree with them, you need to give him some space/time.
Plus
you don't want to look like an "easy" girl. Make him come at you, not vice versa and don't look too desperate for him, neither ignore him.
If he still continues with this, he is not worth your time.

Give him some time, like the others said.

If he likes you, he likes you, and may well come back and talk with you, or will be willing to talk when you approach him.

However, if he doesn't like you, then you can at least know you tried, but don't get too sad about it, seeing as you're not even attached in terms of a relationship. I know it hurts if that happens, but ya gotta be happy and brush it off.
