Basically I'm 15 and I know this girl who is 13, 14 2 or 3 months, and very mature for her age, infact we went out today with our mums and loads of their friends thought that she was my girlfriend (yeah, I wish! lol) and I kind of have a crush on her (not that anything will develop into a relationship). But is this wrong as she's like a year and a half younger than me ?

Everyone has different opinions, I'd say around 2 years is max, others say 3 years is ok though, and some say 1 year lol.

I think it would be okay if she is that mature. Just don't be surprised if people react negatively to your relationship. Basically people that ARE NOT mature will probably make fun of your relationship. BUT if you really like her (AND if she likes you) than I don't think there's a problem with it. I'd probably draw the line at 3 years difference at your age (since it's different when you're older, you know like 5-8 year difference is common).

age doesn't matter. i have friends who were 16 at the time and were dating 24 year olds

your crush is perfectly fine, don't be afraid to make a move.

Age is just a number. It's what people have done with their time that matters. If she's mature, if she can relate to you, and if she treats you well, there's no problem IMHO.

Age can matter during your teenage years for legal reasons. But I don't believe it does if both people are emotionally mature enough to know what they're getting themselves into. Any more than an age gave of 3-4 years (during said teenage years) is pushing it though.

Treat it on a case-by-case basis. Everyone is on a different maturity level. I prefer girls that are at least a year older than me generally, but it varies.

When you're out of school you'll meet plenty of girls of varying ages. This isn't math class, exactly, so it doesn't matter too much. Maturity > Age, I suppose.
