Okay, one day i remembered this old drawing my dad had of a house, and I decided to draw a house in my drawing journal (it was originally a journal but I use it for drawing)

the house itself looks really good, I just got a bit sloppy on the background for it.

Sorry if it is hard to see, I was using my 3DS camera

what do you guys think?
My dad knows how to color coordinate using straight lines, if anyone knows how to do this, please tell me.

Wonder.

It looks good! Especially the roof. Roofs are usually hard to get right for me. The only thing I see wrong is the right of the house. The lines for the bottom of the house and the driveway don't look parallel. That wouldn't be a problem though if you were drawing in one point perspective but none of the rest of the picture seems to do that. Also the window on the right side is a little crooked. That might just be the curve of the paper, I can't tell. Overall it's pretty good! As far as color coordinating using straight lines, I don't even know what you mean. Please explain and I might be able to help. I personally like it without color though. :)

I mean as in using black lines and spacing them, different spacings between lines inticates different colors. My dad knows how to do this but I think this technique may be pretty much forgotten now adays.

Now if I still lived with my dad I could just ask him but he isn't and besides if he were I would still be too afraid to draw. heheh. :P
