I have no idea what to do in September. In my last year of my diploma (which I am hating at the minute). I don't want to go to uni doing what I'm doing at the minute so I don't know whether to do a different course (that I'll have to pay for) and go to a different college, do the higher level of the course I'm doing or do nothing for a year and find something to do in September 2014.

I just don't know what my future holds or where I'm going career wise. I know I don't want to be stuck at my supermarket job for the rest of my career.

Anyone got any suggestions?

if you can, can't you take a leap year(spend a year out of school) deciding on what to do?

You can also complete your core classes at a community college for a fraction of the price.

Always do something you'll enjoy, It's not great to hear your not enjoying this course, unless you could think of a reason of why and try and change that, in terms of work, take anything you can get, it looks good on your CV.

If you leave it for a year, it's a year wasted and there is a lower chance generally of getting accepted, employers and those who offer courses will be more likely to choose someone who hasn't sat around on their arse all year.

There are alternatives, volunteering your time to charity would look good if you could jusitfy not earning and the cost of not being paid, but this again would look good on your cv and doesn't have to be huge. It could be in addition to a small job or a different course.

I would definately try and find something that interests you (pick carefully after making an informed decision, and I would strongly advise not spending a year doing nothing, I imagine it becomes a lot harder to motivate yourself.

I do in all my bluntness I was helpful, let us know if you need anythingelse :)
