So I just turned 16 a few weeks ago, and guess what? I found out my growth plates are closed! I took the bone age X-ray when I was 15 and just over 10 months, meaning my growth plates were probably closed even earlier, when I was 15. I entered puberty at age 12, so that makes 3 years of puberty. Hahahaha, I can't believe this.

Not all of puberty is based on bones.
You may not be at adult height, but, for example, your penis might grow more.

I'm not really concerned about penis sizes or those other things. And what'll be the point? I'm only 5'6'' or 5'7'', athletics in High School is gone, job oppurtunities will be hard, and relationships with girls will be hard. I'm as tall as a Freshmen in high school... ok maybe I;m taller than most, but I'm the shortest boy in my class. Haha kind of funny how I enter puberty at the average age and stop so early. In fact, I think I even stopped growing at age 14. Am I going to die early or something? The only way I can grow is if some genetic or HGH miracle happens.

Hmmm, 5'7" is relatively short, but at my school I know a junior who is 5'3" and a senior who is 5'2", so don't feel too bad. As TheDude said, your height may be halted, but the rest of you will continue to develop. My dad is only 5'9" and he's pretty successful. The shortest NBA player ever was Mugsy Bogues (5'4", same height as me!), so don't think you can't make it in athletics. And thinking that being 5'9" will effect job interviews is stupid; it won't. My brother was 5'7" when he was a senior in high school and had a very attractive 6'0" girlfriend, so don't think it will effect relationships either.

5'7'' isn't even that short!
I know I'm only 13 but I'm 5'4'' which is short...
But still I think average adult male height is something like 5'8'' - and that inch isn't much in height!

I wouldn't worry about it if I was you. It's life.

Average is 5'10". That means about 50% of men are shorter than that and 50% are taller. You'll be fine.

i can speek for sports when i say that in football there are plenty of people in all ages around 5'7 height that are very good. especially in football it is good because it is easy to stay low and hit hard.
