I have a Mac but i dont know what i would prefer between a windows or mac. They both have their pros and cons. My mac is doing really well for me though. Its rather convenient.

My computer has Windows on it, i've never used Mac or Linux, I wouldn't say I prefer Windows computers but i'm just kind of used to using them.

I'm a Mac guy. It's going to take forever to explain the pros and cons, so it's best you find a system you're happy with that can do everything you want it to do, and stick with it :P

Ubuntu Linux,
While Windows and Mac are professional and popular Ubuntu is open source meaning its often looked down upon, but even though it's looked down upon it is managing to get on its own feet by getting into the commercial market.
Not to mention I can still use my windows applications and gaming is now coming to it as well. the fact it is open-source also means I can modify the OS in just about any way I want.

Well, i am pro Linux and Windows. Why? well nearly every single program is made on a windows computer(key word is nearly) and pro Linux as it was made by a Fin.

I use a Mac and have done so all my life. I am very familir with Windows and OSX and also a bit with linux. I write programs so using both platforms is essential.
I use Macs because from my view point its less of a hastle. Things (usualy) just work.
While they are not immune to viruses they are far less likely to get them.
In OSX there are so many small things. I love how Drives mount on the desktop, I love Quicklook, I love Preview, I love Airdrop. Time Machine is brilliant.
I also love using OSX as I love Apple hardware. I hate all over trackpads but the Magic Trackpad, The Magsafe adaptor has saved my so many times, the keyboard is one of the best I have ever used, The battery is fantastic and the battery indicator so I don't have to boot up to see what my battery life is :)
I also find that Macs last a long time, Being a computer collector I have a lot of vintage computers- I find it hard to locate Pcs that are older than 15 or so years yet I have found and bought Macs that are up to 27 years old and work.
Given that I work in both OS's and I am open to change if Windows ever gets better than OSX I will switch to it (But I will run it in boot camp :P )
Well thats just my opinion and view :)

OpenSUSE GNU/Linux, as well as this dreadful Windoze 7.
I prefer the former, just because Windoze doesn't have easy POSIX support -- a rather handy library for many things. Also, GNU/Linux is easy to maintain, and YaST makes that even easier. I can install programs in one command(available in most Linux distributions), something that is missing in Windows.
I am locked into using Windoze, because nVidia decided to only make drivers for their "Optimus" available on Windows. Oh well, I guess it works, for the most part.

I prefer Windows. In my opinion, Windows is great. I'm not really familiar with Mac or Linux.

Windows, its all I ever use and all I ever want to use. I tried a Mac and that, to me, was just plain frustrating because of how new it was but interestingly enough I've never tried Linux. I'm just gonna stick to Windows though because that's all I really know.

I have two MacBooks and love them. I would never try anything else. I tried to use a Windows computer and had no idea what I was doing to try to help someone connect to a WiFi.

I would say windows , basically because I have used this for a long time , from when it was windows 2000 , or whatever it was called to windows 7 , trust me to say windows 8 was out when i purchased a pc. Although my friend has a mac , and I love how fast they run !
