PE teacher in the changing room

At our school we have to shower after PE, the teacher sits in the changing room while we are getting changed, does that happen in your school?
Its ok till you have to change enywhere near him then it gets a bit imbarrising!

Not in my school but I guess he's in there to make sure nothing gets to out of control.

On our school there has to be atleast 2 teachers in there, only teachers of the same sex as the students are aloud in. I don't feel embarrassed at all because I'm with all of my mates. But recently in my school a pe teacher got arrested for pedoplilia and is currently on trial, so everyone is abit worried at the moment :s

when I took gym in middle school we had to shower and the coaches always stayed in the locker room with the clipboards to make sure everyone took a shower cuz there was always 3 or 4 guys who tried to just change back into regular clothes without showering first. after you got out of the shower you had to report to the coach in your towel so he could mark off that you showered. it was no big deal. there was a long line of us and when we got to him he just looked up from the clipboard long enuf to see who we were and then said our name and marked us off and we left to get dressed. he only lookes us in the eye not the nads. some of the guys didn't bother wearing the towel they were already drying off but i always kept the towel on till i got to my locker. if your name wasn't checked off for a couple days in a row then the coach would find you the next day and make sure you took a shower. it wasn't pervy or anything.

we have 2 teachers in the locker room to make sure everyone showers and there is no trouble. hardly notice they are there

No. The teacher always stayed in the office but sometimes came out to talk to someone or if some one asked her to come out.

I always got the feeling she was a lesbian but if she was, she never took any chances looking at the girls.

The coaches usually stay in their office or in the hallway outside the locker room, but sometimes they come in if they need to talk to someone.

We have to take a shower before swim class. We then wait in line to be given our swim trunks. It is usually a coach that does it, but sometimes it's another kid who was excused from class that day. After class we took we took off our trunks and dropped them in a hamper, took another shower, but no teacher or adult is ever there for that. I think he wants to make sure we are all there at the beginning. I am not bothered by that. It is weird standing there naked with all the other boys waiting for him to bring the trunks. :whoops:

No showers at my school. Honestly that sounds weird. In middle school, the gym teacher came into the changing rooms and made conversation with guys as they changed while he was peeing at a urinal. I always thought it was funny because I didn't change. XD

Never had any teachers in our changing rooms, I can see why there might be at some places though since there were more than a couple fights in the change rooms just during the one semester I was in gym.

In my school, one of the gym teachers would walk through the locker room once. From his office down to the other end of the locker room, and then back. He never looked at anyone changing. He would just look forward. He did this to make sure no one was harassing anyone, or fighting, etc. When the gym teacher isn't walking though the locker room, they are all in the locker room office with the door open and the blinds open. (You couldn't see anyone changing through the blinds.

Sounds weird to me too. There is no reason for him to stay. Our teacher unlocks the changing room to let us in. And comes back to lock it when the last one has left for the gym.
He walks in on us if we are too loud, though :eyebrow:.

Long time ago our PE teacher used to watch us taking showers after class. Also he said we can't leave the locker room until we've taken shower and he has seen us taking it.

I think we were something like 10-12 back then I just remember we were young at least under 14...Sometimes when someone escaped from the locker room without taking shower he ran after them so they would take a shower and he'd see it

I don't know I am a girl and my gym teacher was sometimes in the locker room... but it was never weird. She just minded her own business (btw she had an office overlooking a few rows of lockers) and we minded our own. She was never weird and I doubt the male teacher was for the guys... hmm... idk, is it weird?

And btw the teacher at my school would get in HELLA TROUBLE if a kid thought they were being weird, so maybe that also gives them motivation to not look at us at all, haha!

both PE teacher and then coaches after school come into the locker room to make sure there isn't any teasing or fighting going on.

sometimes a few of the new freshman are uncomfortable with that but pretty much everyone else is chill with it.

after my shower sometimes i'll walk up to the teacher with the towel around my neck just to show off LOL

Nah, when I was in school the teachers never sat in the room whilst we were getting changed and for the likes of swimming with the showers etc they didn't either just specified that if we were showering we were to keep our bathing suits on and then get changed.

At times they'd knock on the door and ask if we were all dressed and if one of us said "no" or what not they'd wait outside until we gave the all clear.

Of course with being kids and what not the above was a hit or a miss, sometimes we'd just pretend not to be dressed when we were and just mess about so we got off with going to class later and missing a bit of it, usually if it was maths haha

Same thing here. Our gym teachers office is right close by, but she never bothers us and we don't bother her.

At my school, if you had morning practice for a sport, the coach has to stay til the last person on the team leaves the lockerroom. During gym, most of the teachers are in the office with the blinds open and door open. The window is directly in front of all the guys. Its not weird cause theyre not staring at us guys changing.

We do the same. One coach would sit in a chair at the shower room door and another would sit just inside the door coming into the locker room. They would walk around every once in a while. We had a few fights over time so they are there to make sure no one fights or gets hurt. As long as there are 2 coaches and a bunch of guys in there you should worry about it. If there was one on one I would worry about it.

mine didn't care about fights. they liked it when fights broke out. they just made sure everyone showered before changing back into street clothes.

We never get totally naked because there's no pool or showers. We just go down to boxers and put new cloths on from there. Our teacher isn't even there then although there's a window he can look in at us from.
