Ok, so ive almost always had a bit of a potbelly, ive tried a lot of things and they haven't worked. What should I do? I'm not saying I want six pack abs, but a flatter belly would be nice.

Well first how old are you?
If your younger your body holds fat in your abs before the weight is redistributed so you could just be close to a growth spurt
Second pot bellies are just fat (Duh) so if you want a flatter stomach try getting into a cardio routine and eating a little healthier. You say you have tried lots of things, the trick with anything is to stick to it long term.

Best way to get a stronger core and a flatter belly is cut down fat and build up muscle. As stated above me, stick with it - try and drink water, as water retention can cause bloating. Check to make sure you have no allergies, aren't lactose intolerant etc. and if you want to try googling some exercises to strengthen your core - harder ones include heavy deadlifts and squats, but stuff like planks, variations of crunches and sit ups all work fine. Try and do these 3-5 times a week, and don't expect results immediately - it shows with time.

cardio is great for burning fat. my belly sticks out a bit which is annoying, but it isn't fat so it's fine

:(i have hypothiroidism what can i do that is cheap and does not requare me to take a pill? help i would love a flat belly before high school. HELPPP MEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
