I know how circumcision kills the nerves tbat cause sensitivity but I dont get when people say its still really sensitive there if they have literally have lost all there sensitivity. It confuses me alot.

Not all of the nerves are in the foreskin; most of the nerves are in the glans, which the foreskin merely covers/protects.

You only loose the nerves contained within the prepuce (foreskin). Nothing else. The glands 'toughen' if you will... As they rub against your shorts, but the loss of feeling isn't significant (speaking from the point of view of someone that's been both uncircumcised, but opted to get circumcised later in life for non medical reasons).

There arnt too many nerves in the foreskin and the only sensitivity lost through the glans is just due to the skin toughening up so its not much at all

the foreskin protects the glands, it has nerves yes but it is mainly to protect the head of the penis...once circumcised its is not that you loose sensitivity its just that the skin in the head of the penis gets thicker (kind of like a callus but not hard) any way the skin gets thicker and the nerves in the head and any where else are simply harder to stimulate, but you dont really loose nerves just sensitivity you will still feel it. I learned this one time in my medical class.

Being one that knows what it is like to have a foreskin and not have one, let me tell you my penis is plenty sensitive without a foreskin. Now that I am circumcised, I love feeling my head rubbing on my underwear as I walk and on the sheets at night.

enjoy it bro, cus ater a while it will loose sensitivity trust me, its like when you play guitar or any other string instruent. at firts your finger tips are very sensitive and it hurts to play for a long time but after a few years it builds a tougher layer of skin and it becomes less sensitive. Its almost the same thing down there.

When i was first cut it was well sensative like i couldnt stand it rubbing on my boxers, but now its ok, so i guess yes it is less sensative but still feels good, i like being cut.

Most of the sensitive occurs in the head and the glans. The foreskin is just there to cover up the head, and protect it. I mean it is pretty much just like the skin on the shaft of the penis...

Getting circumcised changes the feel somewhat but not very much. There's nerves in the part removed but the whole thing is exposed to getting stimulated once the foreskin is off so its not worse being circumcised just different.
Plus you can add the health and cleanliness benefits of having no foreskin.

With circumcision the nerves in the foreskin are removed. But the nerves are still there in the shaft and make it more sensitive. The nerves in the glans are always there. Those who say that the glans is not sensitive when it is always open are very wrong. I know I have been circumcised since I was born and am now 18 years old. And my dad says the same. Please get circumcised. It is the best way to go. All my circumcised buddies and all the males in my family say the same.:D

Uh, yeah, there are things called Meissner's Corpuscles that are the really sensitive fine touch nerves that are in the glans, foreskin [and lips, nipples, palms of the hands] those are responsible for the really sensitive soft touch feelings. There are 4,000 of these in the head [glans] of the penis, and there are 20,000 in the foreskin. It's the most enervated part of the penis. So circumcision not only takes away the mobile sheath of skin for wanking and sex that stimulates the penis and the vagina simultaneously, but it takes away 80% of the really sensitive nerves of the penis, and the head of the penis toughens in texture as time goes by, and it dries out.
Don't get circumcised, it's NOT worth it! There are no benefits, you only loose sexual feeling and function [not all but you lose the mechanics of the foreskin, the gliding for wanking and sex] and it all around pales in comparison.

Mate you've got yourself confused here, they don't loose allnevers to the heade of the penis, hoe could they when circumcision doesn't even cut the penis, only the foreskin... The reason they loose sensitivity is from the head of the penis not being covered 90% of the time, its exposed making the skin on the head, more durable.

It doesn't kill nerves. The membrane of an uncut penis is ultra sensitive. If I pull back my foreskin to pretend I'm circumcised, it drives my crazy when my exposed head rubs against my pants. When I was younger, I wondered how cut boys could stand it. But now I know the membrane on the glans of a circumcised penis becomes just a wee bit thicker to compensate for not having foreskin protection. My bf is cut and seems to get just as much pleasure from oral sex as I do.
