Does back/chest acne go away with puberty? I used to have a lot of acne on my face, but being 19 now and getting older, it has gone away a lot. I get the occasional pimple or two, but my face is a lot clearer now. But I am still struggling with back and chest acne. Again, it is a lot better than it used to be. It will be fine for awhile, but all of a sudden I start breaking out. As of now, it's more just my shoulders and chest. It is so annoying. I hate being shirtless because I feel like it looks so gross. I used to always think it was my soap/body wash. So now I just use plain Ivory soap... but I still break out.

Does this go away with puberty/age? I really don't want to struggle with this for the rest of my life.

If you work out a lot, it could be from sweat building up on your skin and being trapped under your shirt. If you wash your body with your hands, try using a loofa. Other then that, maybe try to wash your back and shoulders with acne wash if you haven't already? It could be from puberty, but I'm not 100% on that.

It's important to keep your sheets, clothing, and back clean. Acne stems from a combination of hormones and uncleanliness. The hormones are going away. That leaves one choice.
