After HOUR AND HOUR AND HOURS of school classes spent drawing shit at the last pages of my notebook...i took it to another level ^^ Bought some stuff....Dug up old unused drawing papers and went to work :D
My plan is do be good enough to actually brand it and make it on demand for people :D

I would sketch then scan to pc :D that should work right? But for now il just share it here :D

Took me about 5-7 min to finish this with HB and 2B pencils and a mechanical pencil for 1st step

Its a lot clearer here since i used my Camera not my Phone :) I see the mistakes in shadowing but like i said i did it fast.....

My advice is to learn the fundamentals, especially perspective. No matter what you draw, you'll need to learn them. Also, drawing from life is crucial. It's pretty damn boring to draw a bowl with strawberries in it but is the most important step to improving.

Three books I recommend for beginners are keys to drawing by bert dodson, drawing on the right side of the brain by betty edwards, and fun with a pencil by andrew loomis. You could also look at perspective made easy. Most of these should be available at your library if you don't want to buy them. Start with one book first though.

Don't look for advice at deviantart, and join the conceptart.org forums as well as browse the 4chan artwork board. Most of the guys at 4chan are assholes but some provide great critique.

Start with learning perspective and work on drawing the basic forms in many views. This includes cubes, cylinders, spheres, and cones. Try with line drawings at first. Afterwards begin learning how light works and reacts on different surfaces. Key terms to look up are specular light/reflections, diffuse light, and cast shadows.

Now the actual drawing. I see you have what is referred to as furry line or chicken scratch. Hold the pencil lightly as if someone could knock it out of your hand and make confident strokes from the shoulder and elbow. Even if the stroke is wrong, it will look better than a perfect line that has been corrected several times. The plane the lettering is sitting on has no clear perspective or references to an eye level line and appears shallow and awkward. Your shading has no clear purpose or value variation. I suggest you learn hatching and cross hatching to show value and form. Stay away from typography for awhile as it's very complex stuff, even for pros. Don't try to draw from imagination just yet, draw what you see.

Anyway, good luck bud. Don't give up, just draw something of any complexity level every day and then you can focus on 1/2 hr every day and bump it up. Also, Aleksa is a cool name.:)

I guess if i post already i should give all the details :P
Those "furry lines" are kind of on purpose i make confident lines but the paper was old so it was blury so i had to cross over it again for a clearer look...I never cleared anything with rubber....i just left it original :D if i wanted it to look really good and professional i would get better pencils, better paper and i would took more time ^^ Il do that later and post again :) Oh and im not joining devianceart for advice :P Just a place to share ^^

My sketching of a hand in 3 postions is at school il post it in 2-3 days :D Oh and i didnt even thought 1 sec about those books....I read very very little and that is Sci-Fi Stuff :D
Thanks on ur replay ^^ And yeah Aleksa is a cool name....lot of kinds in my sourounding was given the same name cuz of me o.O

I do alot of sketchign throughout the school day, its the only thing that keeps me from nervously picking at my face, I find that drawing scenery is great practice, Perhaps try starting with simple things and then just build apon that and draw more complex things as you learn.
I also find that repeatedly drawing a line helps me get better angles and such, it might look sketchy and causes the paper to not erase cleanly but it works in my opinion. (I go through about 15 pencil erasers a week because of this, no joke.) I need to get one of those big block erasers.

also if you want to learn shading really well, try studying how things are shaded, and then draw basic 3-dimensional shapes and shade them accordingly.

They're rather good. c:

The wrinkles / creases in the hands are rather obvious though, they stand out too much. They need to be more subtle.
