well i have been considering it for a while... i was a vegetarian a few years ago.. and i did pretty well... i went vegetarian 2 times.... the first time i lasted about 9 months... but i caved and ate a little ground beef while making tacos(and i hated it and regretted it.. the group home i lived in made vegetarians prepare the meats in the meals) so yeah i ate taco meat the smallest little piece and i got really sick since my body wasnt used to it... anyways the second time lasted all but a few months.... and whenever i was with my step mom and dad they wouldnt support it.... so i would starve at their places and they would eat mcdonalds infront of me...anyways we went away for a wedding one weekend and they got pepperoni pizza and i ate a piece... after that i gave in...

the next morning i binged on meats at the breakfast buffet and i got really sick... well i wanna do it again reason being is because i lost alot of weight while not eating meats and im talking like 30 pounds...

im starting to believe that eating meat has been a major part of my recent weight gain.. and i really wanna cut out the things i know are doing it... like mcdonalds burgers.... steak... and other fatty meats...
i know it would be an expensive diet but i wanna do it again..
but heres my question.. how can i do it without getting sick again?
what else can i include in my diet so im still getting all my vitamins and stuff??

My moms 7th day adventist and pretty much follows a vegitarian diet. so, I think if you want to be a vegitarian go for it. btw they do make lunch meat and other things that replace meat that don't taste bad.

I've been veg for 13 years now. I still eat fish to get protein in though.

I recommend keeping lots of fruit around. It's easy and sweet, but full of vitamins.

I like salad, so I eat lots of that too. If you don't like salad, maybe try stir fry mix's

Soups are also really good (y)

No worries. There's also plenty of shops in kensington market if you feel like dealing with the madness of downtown toronto.

You can still be a vegetarian! They sell the "fake meat" which is either black bean burglars or its made from crude protein without the fatty negitives of real meat. And you let a cow live.

the reason you got sick from the vegan diet was because you were detoxing all of the rotten meat out of your body.
