Yeah um is this typical for a boy during puberty?
And is there a way to maybe get rid of it safely!

Mini Survey (optional)
Do you have a lot of hair around your anus?
Do you have a hairy butt?
Are both of these even normal?
When did the hair start to grow more?

Example

My response.
Do you have a lot of hair around your anus? Yes
Do you have a hairy butt? In-between
Are both of these even normal? I've been so
When did the hair start to grow more? At 16

Feb 4 2013 "I use Nair to remove the hair now LOL!"

And if anyone happens to know, why there? I see no logical nor scientific reason as to why when puberty hits, bam! Hair in weird places...

Like I had neither, until I turned 15!

It's very typical. As you progress through puberty, your body develops ( growing physically, and growing body hair ).

I'd say a safe way to get rid of it, would be to trim, or shave that area.

as in Nair cream for the bikini area. if you use it do follow the directions. it can cause chemical burns if its left on to long. trust me they are no fun.

Yeah, you can get stuff that dissolves hair. But some people are allergic to the chemicals in them, so it's important to try it on a different area first like your arm and wait a day or two to see if you react with it.

Oh I had one on my butt and I could not sit down! But wait, the Nair cream for the Bikini area, can be used on these 'sensitive' areas sometimes? I thought you couldn't use hair remover there... Then again, I am not entirely sure what the "bikini" area is...

I have hairs on my butt cheeks, in my crack and between my balls and hole. I leave it natural.
