Don’t get too worked up about it though, you don’t get any special privileges if you have a higher rep than others, and no administrative action is taken based on it.
If you feel that the rep system was abused, and you therefore received reputation from someone you shouldn't have, PM one of the admins, who will look into the case. But remember, just because someone may not agree with you, doesn't mean the rep was given unfairly.



In short, people will give you rep when they like your post by clicking the scale icon, and they'll give you negative rep when they don't like it.

The first one is whether or not said user is online.
The second one adds rep.
The third one is to report a post.
When you get rep, you can see what it was for in your User CP. It will be in the very center. It is up to the user as to whether or not they want to remain anonymous.

Your rep power is pretty good for someone with your number of posts, so just keep doing the same things and it will continue to grow.

By "good" he means above average, because after all, there is not "good" or "bad" reputation power, you either have negative or positive. But it serves no purpose.

You gain 1 rep power, every time you received 50 reputation points.
For example, if someone with a rep power of 50, were to positive rep you, then your rep power would increase from 73 to 74.

There is rep power and then there is rep points. You get one rep power for every 50 rep points. Rep power is what you see above the green blocks. You can see how many rep points you have by going into your UCP.
