I'm Scarlett. 18 years old, from San Diego, and erm...I just started college today.

I'm really not good at explaining myself.
I'm a geeky person.
I write lyrics. I'm a songwriter.
I'm a Metalhead!!! WOOO!!!
I'm what you would call "emo".
I like to wear black and I like to read.
I've been told I'm hilarious but that's only when I'm really awkward or weird.
I love photography.

Thanks, and I actually do self harm so I guess yea I'm "emo" to society but honestly I don't believe in labels.

Yeah, I guess I am lucky... but I definately don't deserve it. It's all my dad who does the work and the effort. I'm not all that great.
I usually think pretty lowly of myself and things on a daily basis anyway... depression sux...

Still, I'm gonna consider you're lucky. At least you don't have to live where all the fakes are. It sucks man. I never meet real individual humans anymore.
And I can totally agree with you about the depression thing. I've had severe severe depression since I was actually 5 believe it or not.
And yea, I am facing some difficulties like self harming and having suicidal thoughts. No bueno.
I didn't have the particularly best childhood. I don't even think my childhood existed. The less you know about me, the better because once I'm friends with someone somehow I make their life worse then it already was.:(
Oh, and thanks about the name thing. That's not my birth name but a lot of people call me that now. I like your name too. Charlieissocoollike came up in my head when I first saw it. haha

WHAT?!?! You haven't heard of Smosh or Sleeping With Sirens?!?! Smosh are these two awesome dudes named Anthony and Ian, and they have a youtube together. And they are now the most subscribed on YouTube thanks to all the smoshers who have subscribed and are fans of them. :) And Sleeping With Sirens is just the coolest band ever. They're hilarious, and Kellin has an AMAZING voice!!!
