So I just bought an iPod touch 4th gen. on eBay for $56-$60. I'm planning on reselling it, it's pretty badly damaged (the screen) but still works perfectly fine. What's the most do you think I could get out of it? Does $120 sound good? It comes with earbuds and the charger.

Let me ask you this. Would you want to by an iPod with a cracked screen for $120? Because I certainly wouldn't, seeing as they go much cheeper, even the new ones.

what steven said. why don't you buy a new screen, fix it, then sell it for more.
mainly why did you buy it if you were just gonna sell it?

I would never buy anything damaged, that's for sure.

With a damaged screen, no. If the screen is "pretty badly" cracked, I don't think anyone would pay more than $40 for it.

Definitely not, if it's been damaged in some way.

Well I got $87 for a iPod that was severely cracked. And $250 for a cracked iPad 2, and the iPad even has parts that don't work.

That would be known as a stupid purchase....
Look, refurbished (basically good as new) are going 'round $200.
Undamaged, I might say that to be reasonable, depending on the storage size.
The price to get it refurbished is going to be at LEAST $100
I'm gonna go on a limb and say, OP, you made a bad move.
Enjoy the iPod?
I have one, 32gb, it's awesome.

No I didn't buy the iPad and iPod for the prices you quoted. I said someone bought those from me.

I wouldn't buy anything that isn't only outdated, but damaged too. When the iPod Touch 2nd Gen came out, I got a Like New one off eBay for, and you won't believe it, £60. I also simultaneously sold my iPod Nano for £80, leaving a nice £20 profit. The point is, (although I'm not totally familiar with dollars), products lose a lot of value over time, and especially cosmetics. An iPod touch is the only iPod in which the screen matters, the other iPods are mainly for music, and because of that you're going to have to lower the price. Besides, every time you insert the auction into eBay, you are charged, so make a wise decision and think about the listing before actually going through with it.

If you've managed to sell those at those prices then go for it. But don't be surprised when the result isn't what you expect.

Getting the screen repaired isn't that expensive. Maybe like 30 bucks? Then sell it for more.

Yeah

Yeah
Then why are you asking how much we think you can get for it? If you ripped someone off twice you can surely do it again.

I definitely would NOT
