Well I just got turned down by this girl at my school, not a big deal right? Well it is. I live in a really small town were everyone knows everything you do. And I will get make fun of quite harshly by people for getting turned down.(They are pretty immature) Any advice on how to go through this with as little flak as possible? Thanks.:whoops:

Just ignore all of it. Don't respond or feed them any attention, that's all they want. I grew up in a really really small town too but trust me it will fade after a week or so.

It's true, if you follow the above advice then it's likely you'll be fine. I would perhaps think of a quick witty response just in case you get caught off guard, I'd be tempted to say: "At least I had the guts to ask her out"
Overall though it's upto you, I would be careful about who you speak to regarding the rejection too, I mean you might have the sort of friends who will keep it to themselves but things do get leaked.
What I'm trying to say is to perhaps avoid giving anybody else ammo to fire at you.
Hope I've helped :)

Ignore it and move on. Everyone gets turned down at some point. That's a part of growing up. If you act like it's abig deal, then it will become a big deal. If you act like it doesn't matter and move on then it'll blow over fast.

I wouldn't ignore it, I would make jokes back. Raunchy jokes, mean jokes whatever it takes. Even the stupid and immature, yet classic, mother joke still works. You might think it gets overused but the beauty of mother jokes is that they don't get overused. If they say something like "Heard you got rejected...." say something stupid lie "Your mother didn't reject me...." or get creative like "Your mother didn't reject me she welcomed me with open legs". Trust me jokes and especially mother jokes really do work lol.

Just like everyone else said, ignore it! If you just ignore it and go on with your life, people will realize this guy isn't that much fun to pick on, let's go and do it on someone else!

Well just know that you at least could ask out a girl! Many guys can't or try to ask out a girl over fb or txt and if they haven't had a girlfriend or boyfriend be like a least I'm trying... Or totally ignore them
