Keep in mind that my mom and I are on pretty good terms, but we never discuss anything sexual at all. Like absolutely NEVER.
So this morning she came upstairs and saw me on the couch watching youtube on my phone, and she randomly just asked me CASUALLY "Hey what are ya doing? Looking at porn?"
I responded quickly with "No, I'm watching a video about samsung's flexible display tech."
Then she proceeded to start the laundry machine without saying anything...
So that leaves me with a wtf feeling...
She's never said anything like that before...
She has never caught me doing... y'know...
What should I do?

I don't know. Isn't it somewhat normal for parents to assume that teen boys are looking at porn?
I don't think I would mention it, but, i'm sure most parents are thinking of it

I think you should talk to her. Ask her why she suddenly asked that weird question.

I think it's your mom joking around, to be honest. I wouldn't worry about it.

Best not to bring it back up ...

I think it's fairly normal, just joking around. A couple months ago my boyfriend told him mom he needed a new book and she handed him a pile of her old "romance" novels lol. Some moms are just pretty laid back about joking about that stuff. My mom would never say something like that to me, but she does tell me dirty jokes sometimes, and stuff like that.

Well, that's kinda weird she brought that up, since you guys have never discussed anything sexual. As said though, she was probably just joking around with you. If she says anything like that again, and it makes you uncomfortable, or you don't like it, then ask her why she's suddenly talking like that to you.

I would just brush it off... i wouldn't worry about it too much

She knows you're a teenage guy and that you do stuff like that, I bet your dad and her had a conversation about it or something. She was just joking around, trying a new sense of humour. I doubt she'll do it again seeing how you responded.
My parents and I have never discussed anything sexual but they still joke at it sometimes.

If she does it again and it makes you uncomfortable, tell her to stop.
At best for now, let it alone and brush it off as her trying to be funny.

Ditto. Unless it comes up again, she was probably just trying to be funny. If it continues, she may be trying to use humor as a way to have a convo about porn or sex with you. I'm only 16, but I imagine if I ever have sons, starting a talk about sex or porn wouldn't be easy. It might be her way of trying to make it happen. But if you're uncomfortable with it and she persists, say something. Just because she's your mom doesn't give her the right to make you uncomfortable.

Ummm that's extremely strange. What mother would say that?! Usually they see you do it, pretty much ban you from computer. Hmm I wouldn't say anything at the moment, but next time she brings it up, ask her why is she asking you?

For some reason, I'm getting the idea that my parents actually support it... which is weird and awkward...

If you're worried your parents are going to do that "family knows everything about your penis and what you do with it" route, shut it down if they ever bring up something like that again.
Parents aren't supposed to make their kids feel awkward or uncomfortable, especially about their sexual life.

It is odd, certainly. However, is it really a big deal? I mean, if she persists and these things become frequent, I'd certainly ask, but otherwise I don't see why you'd need to stir up any more awkwardness.
Besides, it may have been some weird attempt at humor or just having an actual conversation. Might have left here feeling a little embarrassed that she said it, too. It's all speculation, but all in all, I don't really see a genuine problem, so why bring it up?

Just ignore it, unless she does it again. Then you should tell her to stop because it is making you uncomfortable.

I'm just worried that I might make my parents feel embarrassed because I theoretically know more about it than them. :D
Either way I'll just ask her why next time she does.
