letting him know how you feel

what is the best way to let a guy know that you have feelings for him? i dont want to let him know in a way that makes me look that its only physical, but i dont want to be too serious or too strong. he's been my friend for a year and i worry that it will kill our friendship. if i can be subtle but clear that would be great. and not make me look like a looser if he doesnt feel the same way? how would you want to be approached?

Gee, I told the girl (from my Love Sucks thread) that I really liked her. A lot. And she was like "Awwwee!! That's so cute!!" I also told her that I didn't want that to make things weird between us. And things have only gotten better.

I think that's how I would want to be approached to. Just be relaxed and tell him. I hope this helped at all; us guys are terrible with feelings :D .

"be subtle but clear..." well that's kind of an oximoron but i get what you mean. You just have to tell him, trust me if you try to be too subtle you'll confuse him and then he'll be stressing out. Just come clean and just know what will be will be.

Whenever you two are alone where no one can hear you is the best time, you never want an audience when admitting feelings for someone. Just say "Hey we've been close friends for a while and i was wondering if you've ever thought of becoming more than that."
And if he asks you if you have then say yes.

But you do have to make sure that you, personally, will be ok with just being friends with him if he says no.
