The IUD is also a long term method of contraception which is useful if you're going to be having sexual contact with this girl often :) If you're still worried, a pregnancy test will be accurate from 3 weeks after when her period is due.

Probably not. Lots of things have to be right for it to happen. Sperm need a lot of factors to survive.
