Try to explain this
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in
1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in
1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil
rights.
Both wives lost a child while living in the White
House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named
Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was
born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was
born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln,
was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy,
was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Ford."
Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made
by "Ford."
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before
their trials.
And here's the "kicker":
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in
Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with
Marilyn Monroe.
AND...................:
Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin
ran to a warehouse...
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the
assassin ran to a theater...

Okay, these conspiracy theories are really starting to cheese me off.
However, I would be interested in you telling me how these tie together. What is your unifying theory? Yes, there's this series of connections but I'd like you to explain what they mean, because until you do it's like saying "there are things I can't explain by saying 'coincidence' so I'm going to say you tell me"
Which, nope. What do you think, OP?

Alright, I saw a thread on presidents and this conspiracy shit, so naturally I had to post. Let me break this to you: Yeah, they have a lot of similarities in what happened and in their administrations and whatnot (neither of their administrations really had civil rights as a key issue, though, that point is wrong, keep in mind). The thing is, THEY ARE 100 YEARS APART. Any similarities are, in the end, just a coincidence, nothing more. Is it neat to look and see the similarities between them? Yeah. Is there any sort of "hidden meaning" or anything behind it? No. It's a century time difference, and even trying to orchestrate something like that--which someone would have nothing to gain from, keep in mind--would be virtually impossible. I'm sorry to say that all these similarities, they all mean nothing.

Yeah it's coincidental but these things happen in life. You get coincidences and this is just a very big one. I think that's all it is. Nice matching though.

Yep, like everyone else had said, just coincidences.

Damn, that is pretty weird. It's just a mere coincidence, though.
I don't see how Lincoln's and Kennedy's assassination have any correlation.
The similarities seem very interesting, but I don't think those assassinations have any correlation between them.

some of these "facts" aren't even true. Marilyn Monroe died a year before Kennedy so how could he visit her a month before he was killed? The date of Booth's birth is also wrong. there's a whole lot of other stuff about it at Snopes. http://www.snopes.com/history/american/lincoln-kennedy.asp

Aside from the inaccuracies used to inflate the list, this all appears significant if you don't consider the probability of finding arbitrary matches between any two individuals.
Consider how many "facts" you could attribute to yourself - type of phone, car your parents drive, what you ate last night, hair colour, favourite drink ... the list is absolutely immense. The odds of finding a dozen similarities with another person from this immense list of facts is actually really high.

A lot of this is made up, except the succeeding presidents. Kennedy was NOT SHOT IN A WAREHOUSE. He was shot on a road in Texas

No, the assassin shot him while he was in the warehouse. The assassin was in the warehouse.

No, the assassin shot him while he was in the warehouse. The assassin was in the warehouse.
I say the road because that's where the bullet entered Kennedy.

every coincidence is mathematically possible, so do we really need to explain them?:P

It doesn't mean anything. They're coincidences.

My personal favorite theory I have seen yet is that Rebecca Black's song, Friday, is about the JFK assassination.
Also, those "facts", some of them are terribly wrong. Yes, Lincoln personally was not for slavery, and his actions were not following his personal feelings because he knew as a man of a country that couldn't be done. He moved more upon the fact that slavery was an issue that, literally, split the country and he felt that he had to keep it whole. He never really supported civil rights anyways, he did support taking all of the blacks and mixed and sticking them in another country that gave them freedom. Kennedy too. He didn't do anything until a church was bombed in Alabama, then he was all "oh, I should probably pay attention to that issue now."
Lincoln never had a secretary by the name of Kennedy either.
Also most assassins/serial killers/well known murderers have three names. Mark David Chapma, Gary Leon Ridgway, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wayne Gacy, Paul John Knowles and John Wilkes Booth who was born in the NORTH (his home state is around mine, we're definitely not considered part of the South). Nothing new, just a, oh hey that's odd, moment everyone's noticed.
Edited: Ah. I just noticed. How was Kennedy with Monroe? Considering she'd been dead for a good while? He preform a seance?

Agreed, you can link a series of things together and make a conspiracy. An elephant is grey
The grey is a new movie that came out about a plane crash
A plane crash brought down the twin towers.
Bam....elephants were the cause of 9/11...no offense
Someone just spent a little bit of time linking things together to make them seem related. Because in a persons life so much goes on on so many different days with so many different combinations that you can link it to anything in many different ways.
Thats what i think

This is all coincidence. There cant be a conspiray theory in two events almost 100 years apart. You can't plan something like those so they have details like that. People need to start seeing the truth for what it is which is simply the facts and stop trying to over stretch to fit some twisted theory
