Ive got windows 8 and i cant get the chat to work it says something about opening it up on the desktop and im confused how to get it to work can someonr help me?

Right so I need to ask you a question before I can give you too much help. What device are you using? Is it a laptop?

Okay so I'll give you some screenshots to help. However first of all, did you install java? Make sure you do this.

Now I am using a laptop so it might be different however if you see a page like this it should have an option, see the screenshot

If use this as an example, you'll note you'll have something like that, says desktop.

Now, make sure you are not on the internet and click on desktop. You should an internet, like internet explorer saved to the desktop or something saved to the task-bar at the bottom. Anyway if you don't go back and right click on your internet and you'll see an option (pin to task-bar) Pin this to your task-bar by clicking on the option, go back to desktop, launch your internet, log onto VT and then try entering the chat.

Basically when it says it can work for desktop then you basically you just need to go to the desktop and launch your internet from the desktop.
