Girls wearing tights as pants

What are your opens on girls wearing tights as pants? In my school a lot of people are criticising it and saying its slutty and stuff. I have nothing against it and find it kind of a double standard between girls and boys when they show their bodies.

Personally I don't really like it... I mean, I guess if they're really thick and they have the body for them... And one of those long shirts. But people at my old school would wear thinner leggings wear you could see their underwear (or lack thereof), which is pretty disturbing. I don't know, I just don't really like it, but then, I don't even like how skinny jeans look on most people. But it doesn't bother me THAT much, people can wear whatever they want.

They can look great, but apart from what else it is warn with it depends on the legs and the colour. Some girls should not wear them (it can make some figures look very top heavy, or create a focus where you really don't need one). Flesh coloured tights can look quite unpleasant too.

When the tights have merged with their body to become their skin and we can pretty much see every pore of their butt and crotch and the perfect outline of the labia as if they weren't wearing their "bottoms", would very greatly appreciate if they'd leave something for the imagination than just the skin color. Surprisingly it's worse when they have underwear on, we can see you have a wedgie...in your front.
And if it's so tight their calves and hips are bursting over the opening, we're afraid of the crotch splitting.
And if it's see-through, just don't wear them. What was the point?

I think some articles of clothing are best left underneath other articles of clothing, such as a dress. The whole point in clothing is to cover up your bits and pieces and if the clothes you're wearing outline those bits and pieces, you should change. Nobody wants to see your lady box and cinnabuns if they aren't throwing dollar bills at you so... I certainly wouldn't wear them without a dress over them, the furthest I go is yoga pants, and even they give me room to breathe.

In my opinion, people can wear whatever they want. I can understand how it exposes a lot though. My girlfriend, Mariah LOVES wearing tights. I can't complain. :D

I have never wore them, but if tastefully done, they are fine. I have seen slutty looks and bodies that they don't belong on, but to each his own.

To each his own. I wear tights or leggings under dresses and skirts for layering and for when the dress is a little too short (A little too short is above the knee for me), but personally I don't wear them as pants. That might just be me though.

I don't really care, they can wear whatever they want. And just because a girl wears tight pants, doesn't mean she's a slut, that's just her clothing preference, or the style she likes.

I think the people who call tights slutty are the kind of people who are just looking for things to call slutty. I wear tights as pants all the time. Mine arent see thru, but I also don't always wear a long shirt over them. I've been called slutty for all kinds of things, and I NEVER let it bother me. I think people should make their own decisions about fashion and stop bashing other people for theirs.

I don't like it. I'll wear LEGGINGS like that sometimes, but they're not overly tight (just slightly hugging) and of course opaque, but I don't usually do much else than lounge and go for walks like that.

If you're going to do that, wear a shirt that covers most of it imo. It's not as much slutty to me as just tacky.

I wear leggings and jeggings and have no problem with them. Like a few others said I also wear a longer shirt and layer them with a short blouse or light jacket. As a ballet dancer now for years I'm so used to seeing everyone in tights that it really doesn't bother me. Not even the guys who btw wear tights with whats called a "dance belt".
