Compare the sizing to the other clothing you wear and pick the mean size, or most sites usually have a measuring guide so get a measuring tap and measure your shoulders, waist and whatever else it wants, if it's in a shop, you can try it on. If you can't try it on, if it's cheap and you can afford it, just get it. If it's expensive and you can't try it on, try a different brand or shop.

Keep in mind, tank tops usually stretch.
