Does anyone agree with me? She dates a new guy every few months, writes an album/song about them, then finds another victim. Sadly, I'm sure she will always find a boyfriend, cause lets face it. Most guys would wanna date a celebrity. I do like her music btw

Not necessarily. Yes, she has been acting a bit promiscuous lately, but she just doesn't portray the "whore" image in my opinion. Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton, and the Kardashians are prime examples of whores.

(Pardon my language, I just do not like her) I mean you compare her to miley cyrus... miley is called the whore while taylor is the idol... hmmmm... miley has been with the same guy for three years and is engaged to him... taylor on the other hand has been with 13 guys in the past three years... She is like a door knob... Everyone gets a turn.

There are stars out there with sex tapes...just throwing that nugget of information out there. Dating a lot of guys ≠ sleeping with a lot of guys. I wouldn't call them victims, they're grown men with freewill. No one is forcing them to date her. And if any of her boyfriends haven't been living under a rock for the past 4 or 5 years, I'm pretty sure they know where she gets her inspiration from.

Dating a new guy every few months does not make her a whore, it doesn't make her anything really, but normal. Neither does writing a song about him. She's a song writer, what the hell else is she gonna write about? Her cat? And having a lot of boyfriends doesn't make someone a whore. She also dresses really modestly from what I've seen lately.

What bugs me most is that people highlight and gripe over how she has a new "man" almost every week.

I knew a girl in my math class that had a new man on her hip faster than Taylor Swift could even pick up her guitar after her latest break-up.
So she dates a bunch of people. She'll keep swimming the pool until she finds reason to get out, even if that means that she's run out of dateable men. She could start to recycle them, but that'd be a bit weird to me.

I don't understand why you think dating is whore-like. Why is it wrong for a women to put herself in the dating game, and try to find love? Why is that so bad?

Why do to try to shame women for saying 'yes'? Slut and whore etc, is vilifying a woman for saying yes, and frigid and friend-zone if vilifying her for saying no.

Her life doesn't affect you in any way, she isn't breaking any rules, and everything in consensual.

If it were a man dating lots of women, he'd get pats on the back.

If you define a whore by the number of people you date, then sure, she's a whore. But most people define a whore by a person that regularly cheats on their partner, has a 'public sex life' meaning who she sleeps with is broadcasted to the world, how the person dresses and finally, as a celebrity, being involved in sex related scandals. Yes it is true, Swifty dates many men and writes songs about her relationships. That is a fact. What isn't a fact (that we know of) is that she cheats on her boyfriends, publically discusses her sex life, wears revealling clothing and is involved in sex scandals. Therefore, not a whore and i struggle to see how someone could come up with the conclusion that she is a whore.

I used to love her, until I realized all of her songs were about guys, mostly different guys. She plays the victim all the time, it's ridiculous. The thing about her is she looks classy (I think so anyway) and she's country, so she doesn't have a whorish aura. She's not exactly a whore, she's just naive.
That's the thing about most girls like that though, they're just naive hopeless romantics who don't give a lot of thought to relationships. They think they're in love with every boyfriend they have and that it will last forever. They just give themselves away to every guy who says they like them because they don't think about it. I don't think she realizes how she's coming across and how desperate she is.

That's a steep generalization, no? You paint girls as blind creatures who think they're in love with any guy who gives them the time of day. Which is far from the truth, well, at least for me and most girls around me, anyways. I agree there are some girls that act like every new guy they're with is their source of oxygen, but for the most part that isn't true. I also do agree that it can make Taylor seem desperate at times. But nothing more. Ultimately, I think she's a good role model for young girls and more stars should strive to do the same.

It's annoying and immature, but that doesn't make her a whore. She can date as many guys as she pleases. She can have sex with as many guys as she pleases, at that. It's none of our business. I don't really keep up with Taylor Swift, and I do think it's stupid that she falls in and out of relationships quickly, but that's MY personal opinion, and as I think it's stupid I do not think it's wrong.

I said "girls like that", not girls in general. It's something I've noticed about most promiscuous girls I know, they just fall in love easily. They're not stupid or bad people, nor does it define them.

Actually, usually less than that. More like in the 10 to 25 thousand and up to $100,000 if they get Playmate of the Year. But you're right, it's way less than she makes now.

Yep, Cicero, I do agree. I mean I really didnt think about that till my mom said, "She just uses her boyfriend so she can break up with him and write a hit song" I feel bad for the guys that she had used. I mean I wouldnt mind having a night with them. If Taylor Swift is a whore, then her record company is her pimp. Now I know what Big Machine Records is, a pimp-mobile.

She does have good songs. Kind of like Justin Bieber, you love them but you hate them. But something keeps you wanting to love them.

Just a thought but i saw a comparison between Taylor swift and Miley Cyrus the other day on TV and was basicly about the publics perception of people based on how they dressed and the majority thought Miley Cirus was more of a slut than Taylor Swift. Just thought this was interesting because Miley has been dating the same guy for years and is now engaged while Taylor has been dating multiple guys over the last couple years. Things arn't always as they appear.

and then again maybe it's because the guys she dates don't like the songs be written about them and their relationship. but i think your partly right i don't think she is very promiscus and in any case she's about average for someone her age as far as the number of guys she has dated.
