Guys. This is NOT something to get scared of.THIS HURTS ARE BECAUSE OF GROWING BONES.Threy are gonna stop when our bones will be fully developed. I have some hurts in my chest too,I got scared, made an EKG(Electrocardiography) and nothing was wrong.I hope my answer is helpful. Bye

I have also had these pains, but it didn't FEEL like bone growth. Mine was deeper in my chest, and last for a good 30 seconds or so... Whenever this happens, I have to adjust my back a little and hold my breath. :what:

With chest pain, there are loads and loads of possibilities to what it could be, it could be growing pains, or something serious, from cardio to respatory to stomach illnesses, you would need blood tests, ECG's and ECHO scans to see if anything was wrong... I think that, if you think that you need to get it checked out then you should, you can probably tell the difference between indigestion or growing from a pneumothorax, so if you think that this feels/seems serious, then you should get it checked out, :)

I have had this as a symptom of anxiety. Your breathing goes shallow and causes muscular pain. The site of the pain for me is pecs, level or slightly above my nips.
You can also cause it if you are hunched over (eg on a laptop on the sofa or something) and restrict your breathing that way.
It doesn't hurt to speak to a doctor to get it covered. I hate to be alarmist but we've had several young footballers have heart attacks recently, so they are pushing people to not take any signs lightly. Better safe than sorry.

Another cause of these pains might be staying for a longer period of time between two opened windows or somewhere where the cold air keeps moving. It is something similar to head pains because of the wind...
