Those fires are in southern California. I don't even think he's anywhere near where the fires are being all the way in San Francisco. Not being able to answer for a year? That all seems odd to me. I think there might be a little overreacting here.

Erm, I think he (your friend) might be making things seem much more dramatic than they are. I don't know a lot about US geography, but I'll assume Ant knows what he's talking about.

Really, it's San Francisco. First thing that pops into my mind are cloudless skies and nice beaches, not Hellfire and brimstone. Not much to worry about. ^^;

I get the god damn point. I'm between two fires, one is 70,000 acres and the other 165,000. I'm not freaking out. You shouldn't. San Francisco is north of all the fires.
