Improvement on the mobile quick style chooser and an app are two things that I think would improve the site and community.

Did you not bother to look in the forum you were posting in?
Two threads below you, someone has asked about making an app here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=162656), and the reason is, there already is a forum app that works perfectly with this one called "Tapatalk". It'll set you back a couple of bucks but is worth it.
And by improvement on the style chooser, what do you mean?

I think he is referring to the 'Quick Style Chooser' at the bottom of the forum homepage - Bottom left hand corner.

I'm fully aware of what it is, I just wanted to know what he meant by "Improve", as in add more themes or change the box?

What exactly do you think should be different about the drop down box? I don't really know what else can be added or taken away from it as it is just a drop down box... Unless you're talking about the themes themselves?

If you wished to, instead of having to use the quick style changer, you could have this site load automatically onto the mobile theme when you log in then you can do so in the user CP  Edit Options  Scroll Down--Miscellaneous Options the edit the theme change and it will forever, when you log in, put you onto the Mobile Theme.
Wonder.

I think he's asking for the mobile theme to be changed. It does kinda suck if I remember it correctly.
If that's what the OP is referring to, just a normal theme works fine on most mobile devices.

I think the entire idea of the mobile theme is:
It loads quicker, due to not having to load graphics or anything visually demanding
The links are easy to navigate
Its relatively easy to post as well
I know it doesn't look great. However I am sure the above reasons are why it doesn't look great. I've used the mobile theme once for awhile when browsing and the load time on my phone was pretty quick and it was easy enough to post and navigate. Remember not everyone has an up to date phone. So viewing VT in mobile viewer is useful for some people.

Exactly what Derri said. I'm not sure if you guys have stacked VT side-by-side with the mobile theme versus standard themes, but the load time and navigational difference are significant. There's no need to change it when it works exceptionally well already. And as stated before, TapATalk works fine as VT doesn't really need it's own app anyway.
