I don't know how to mourn and get rid of all this pain. Its been almost 4 years since my dad passed away and I still feel heaviness in my heart. I dont think crying is enough so i dont bother anymore. I just fell NUMB. Then here came the death of my close cousin and a best friend last year. Death is a freakin cheater. Always take you by surprise. When Im by myself which is often, i get nostalgic then feel solidly depressed.
I dunno what to do. People say time heals and you'll move on but i still feel the same. How do you guys mourn?

I've had 3 friends die within the last 2 years.. It's horrible. I kept myself surrounded by people that also knew my friends that I could talk to.
Sometimes it helps to talk to others about the person you lost and fond memories of them, to get closure. Talking to others that are going through the same thing really can help you. Even if all you do is sit around together and cry, it helps to have company that knows how you feel.
Time really does help, too. It just might take a very long time.
Trust me, you will feel better in time.

Idk if you are spiritual or not, but what helps me is to pray. It gives you a sense of hope and faith. It keeps you calm and relaxed. so you might want to try it and see what happens, I can't guarantee if will make it better the first couple of times you do it but you have to continue to do it daily
