Okay, so I have read some things and majority of the people on the internet believe the sweeteners in coke zero can cause serious harm, not to mention all the sodium they put in it.
It may be zero calories, but the sweeteners can cause you to have an addiction to the drink
Is this true?

The sweeteners certainly aren't the healthiest thing out there, but I think that 'addiction' goes a bit far. If anything gets you 'addicted' to coke, it's the caffiene.

Ever done that thing in school were you put an ten cent coin in Coke for a week? If so, did you see how it came out afterwards? Imagine it doing that to your stomach. >.< Not exactly pleasant. That and truck drivers use Coca Cola to clean some part of there truck (like, the engine or some inside bit like that, I'm so damn mechanical XD) because it's so corrosive.
That and I think Coke tastes revolting. But I can't talk, I'm currently drinking Fanta. XD

Fanta is made by the Coca-cola company. They began selling it during World War II in Germany because they were not allowed to sell Coke there.

Let's get real you guys, if it was in any way unsafe, Coke wouldn't be selling it, period. We're in a day in technology where not too many mistakes are made with drink ingredients. Also, by now, someone would've had a serious problem and would've brought a lawsuit on Coke, etc., etc. So seriously, lets not overreact.

Bullshit. They're allowed to genetically modify our food and put powerful pesticides on it. They're allowed to inject the animals we eat and drink milk from with artificial growth hormones and antibiotics. They feed us drugs that they don't understand how they work, just that they work. What prevents a drink from having an unsafe ingredient in it? Sucralose, otherwise known as Splenda, is made with two sucrose molecules and three chlorine molecules. It is only zero carb because it supposedly cannot be absorbed through the intestine, which has not been thoroughly tested in a wide range of individuals. When consuming anything with Splenda in it you're putting chlorine in your body. Aspartame, an older sweetener that sucralose is replacing, has been shown to trigger ADD and ADHD, along with other possible negative effects on the brain.

If it's sweet, fizzy, or caffeinated assume it's bad for you.

Hmmm. Interesting. However, every time a person has something to eat or drink that has salt in it (NACL2 -- sodium chloride), they are putting chlorine in their body, so it can't be all bad. It's the sodium in salt that is the bad part.
