You need to ask yourself these questions:

Question 1- do you think he wants to? If yes, than continue.
Question 2- Why do you want to try with him? Any real reason, like attraction, or because he is there? Or is it something else completely?
Question 3- Would you be happy with people learning about this? It could happen on anyone's part, either by accident or on purpose.
Question 4- are you sure? If yes- go for it!
