I really hope it comes out in March because I can't wait that much loger!
Can you guys imagine what it'll be like when it does hit store shelves? I mean, all the Cod, Assassin's Creed, Halo, Forza Motorsport, Uncharted, and of course GTA fans will all unite to make a hectic scene!

Let me remind you guys that the metro area (not including rural areas) is gonna be bigger than GTA 4, GTA San Andreas, and Red Dead Redemption put together!

We'll see about that, I mean if you really think about it, even grand theft auto 3 was a huge scene. Even though you had to wait when you crossed the bridge it was still a massive environment. I just feel kind pissed that they didn't bring this back to Vice City. I've been waiting for another vice city for 10 years now. Vice City will always be my favorite. I'm going to get it right when it comes out, but to be real honest, if it's anything like grand theft auto IV, the only thing that will impress me will be the physics and graphics. The story for that one was so terrible, that I just wanted it to end. I've beaten it a number of times, but i just didn't find Liberty City for one thing to be that exciting or the fact that it seemed like the organization of the story was so fucked up.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I have never actually played III before but want to. I know the story on IV wasn't great, but I think it had its perks. I don't know though. I beat the game 2 years ago when I was like 13. Since then I've been exploring the online.

The only thing I liked about GTA IV online was Freemode, my best friend and I used to jam that shit, I used to roll up in a huge ass SUV and get him out of jams and he'd shoot. Making all the people come down to the airport and then blowing them away. The rooms used to be filled with people, it was always a lot of fun. Now its dead as shit. I think for a lot of people just now playing GTA you should try some of the earlier versions of the game because a lot of the stories will make sense and characters will interface will make more sense. I mean I remember playing the very first GTA in 1998 when everything was animated and you had this pain in the ass 'sky view' back then, the game was silly and just plain funny, though when GTA III came around it got serious. I'm a real GTA fan boy, but Vice city has a pleasant little home inside my bitter heart

I play gta SA on original xbox and played Liberty City Stories on PSP. I know exactly what you're saying.

I kinda agree with Ronnie. Vice City is my favorite game of the franchise. The story of IV made no sense to me and I didn't really like it much. Also, I love the 80's feel, so I may be partially biased :P sure the graphics weren't as good as modern times, everything else made up for it.
I'm kinda disappointed that GTA V only features Los Santos, not the entire state of San Andreas.
The multiplayer needs to be improved in my opinion. In IV, there's always the 'hackers' who blow you up, or put ramps up at the airport, and so on. It just sucks to not be able to play a clean multiplayer game. GTA V better improve in this department.
Also, I'm not sure how this multiple protagonist thing will work either. Seems kinda confusing to me.
Anyways... I'll be getting V as soon as I can, but I'm hoping for a better experience than IV had. I'm excited to see more flyable vehicles return too. I'll just be kinda critical of this game more than others.

I have LCS on PSP and PS2 (ther isn't any difference) though that game is basically a GTA III toned and tightened up. They really burned me out on Liberty City. They had Liberty City in the first 2, then GTA III then LCS then GTA IV and the DLC's. so to be honest, I'm so burnt out on that shit, I wouldn't care if I ever heard of Liberty City ever again.

Now this is the answer right here. Vice City and I might as well agree with you here, my bias with my obsession with the 80s, really influenced my obsession with Vice City. Compared to how dark everything looked in GTA III, the environment looked so crisp, the water looked amazing and everything seemed so awesome. The soundtrack and the story mode was kind of silly and serious at the same time, but it made SENSE.
To be real honest with you, the only reason I liked SA was the pure fact that I could fly planes. Since GTA III I had always wanted to fly the planes and was constantly teased with this "dodo", and I got my taste for it when Vice City had it's floating dodo. But the flying school and everything vehicle related in SA was what most attracted me to it.
Again, I'm going to agree with you, I'm ALSO disappointed that its only going to be in Los Santos, because Los Venturas and San Fierro were the better city's if I'm honest and with how the character is supposed to be portrayed in V I expected to have some mafia ties or something really interesting. Los Santos was a really boring city, and the country side? Meh I could have done without that entire part of the story line in SA.
Hopefully they'll add some kind of cooperative option or at least a small story mode in some sense, that way you can try to work together on missions or be able to join in on a mission. I think that would be awesome to have a partner on some of those missions. I think its cool and all doing all this shit solo, but at the same time, I don't see how it could hurt to incorporate some co-op

When I saw trailer 1 for the first time, I actually thought it was Vice City because of the beach shot- but then I saw Downtown LA(Los Santos)lol.

It will be on there, but will be a while. You better have a damn good computer to run this game.
I can't wait for this game, I'm so excited that when my principal told me that if I got all passing grades this semester he'd pay for it.
PSN ID- Water fill , add me to play when it releases

After the LAST GTA port to PC? Shit, all those hardware upgrades were for nothing. Max Payne 3 had some of the best PC options I've seen, and I hope Rockstar learned its lesson from GTA IV that it shouldn't just put together a quick port and strap on a shitload of DRM.
