i got mine last year on christmaas day

and i was waering a white dress to make it wors

but thankfully my mom had some extra pads for me
and i got it again on xmass day this year too

I was 14. I got it in my sleep so I was like...did I crap myself in sleep really? But then I got a cramp, felt like a freaking Mac-truck hit me. I swear.

My periods are always hell. Bad cramps, nausea, cranky. The only time I like them is when that before the period moment of cramps is bothering me, the period coming makes them leave~

Mine was 1 yr ago when I was 13. It was awful. Bad cramps & crabby. Luckly it was when I was at home and had supplies.

I was 12 and had just gotten in from church and was changing clothes to go a friends housewhen I noticed it and changed panties and put a tampon in, got dressed and told my mom I just started my period and walked out the door. what was soooo embarassing was that she called my friends mom and told her that I had just started and to keep an eye on me. It ruined my whole day of becomming a real woman. LOL

its very painful and bloody when it does decide to come.. but since i started having sex i have not been even close to regular anymore..... it comes and i bleed real heavy for like 2-4 days and then it stops and its over.. then it comes back but not on time and then i think im pregnant... well im late again.... but what else i new

Have you tried getting on the pill? It can help if you haven't.

it was awful..i just felt gross...and my mom was all about keeping me clean an stuff, no real emotion if that makes any sense

I was excited because me and my friends always talked about when it would happen. When it did it wasn't exciting at all and was for a long time a bummer because I never knew when it was coming. Now that I'm regular it's just an inconvienence.

my first one I didn't have cramps too bad but seeing all that made me feel so disgusting. I think I was mentally traumatized for a solid month (till my next one came). I still hate it but I have had enough of them to get more use to it now. I guess its part of life, I just have to deal with it

I found mine a bit scary. No-one had told me what to expect, but luckily it started at home and I realised straight away what it was.
Now I'm used to periods, I try to help some of my younger friends and explain things to them so they don't get scared too.

My first was August time and I remember being hot and sweaty at the time it was horrible. I didn't know what to do or what was happening so I went to the bathroom and cried to my sis down the phone. She told me to go to the drug store and get some tampons. Kinda funny now I look back at it!

Mine was light and the bigger issue was major cramps.
