I like mines too, shaving can cause problems, but you can trim VERY short :)

i shave my pubes then let them grow for around 2-3 weeks and shave them again. I like the smooth feeling, and i dont mind short stubble (not the prickly kind) so i leave a couple weeks between shaves.
