during puberty your abs will probably develop with muscle growth. however, i think the best exercise would be using weights.

If you want to up your muscle max esp. around your abs ect, eatting a lot of protein, things such as nuts (peanuts etc) is a good idea, you could also look into protein shakes.
Joining a gym and getting an exercise plan (one involving a lot of core workouts) is a good idea too. :)

So if during puberty my abs developed, they become visible?

No, visible abs do not just appear after puberty. It takes a lot of work and patience to get abs. I repeat a lot of work.

You couldn't have a gym membership anyway because most require you to be at least 16.

Most people who have a six pack has or had a personal trainer. Maybe when you're 16 you can get one. It's harder when you take matters into your own hands when you do it on your own.

Here are some exercises though:

I run five to eight miles every day and do at least 100 sit ups and 50 push ups after my runs and I've got a visible six pack; not cut like the bow flex commercial guys, but they're there. It's a hell of a lot of work, though :p

Damn, I'm too lazy to do that stuff.. I have a 4-pack lol, I'm pretty skinny, so it looks like I have abs, but its just b/c I'm skinny. I did about 50 crunches/sit ups (I'd usually alternate between one or the other each day) a day over the summer, but during the schoolyear so far, I've only been working on building up muscle in my arms by lifting weights.. At my school weightlifting and working in a gym is part of the curriculum so we get to use machines every other day, and we're allowed to come after school. A 14 year old going to a gym is not that strange. But yeah, if you're lazy like me, its very, very tough to get abs and get stronger/more fit.

Depends on where you are, and what gym you go to, got my first gym membership at 14, which was the minimum age.

I would assume when you get see when right? Isn't that the goal?

And we can't say how come. There could be many reasons why. Why don't know this person. Although some people are just skinny by nature and he might have worked out in the past. Everybody's body is different.

Huh?

You will know your abs are formed when they become visible and in order to achieve that you need to exercise. Understand?

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Once you have rock hard abs they should be well-defined, so just get to it.

You won't see them before you start exercising. They are already there but small and not built up yet. So go ahead and start exercising.

That thing isn't very good for your back unless you're used to doing backbends in gymnastics or something.

well the only way to get abs is one hell of a lot of work!
I have a 6-pack and it took time and patience, you'll need to get our fitness in general up so that you can do decent exercise so running is always good. If there is an athletic club in your are try joining that.
