The latest version of Samsung's hugely popular Galaxy S mobile phone has been spotted, according to one online site.
An image obtained by Sammobile shows the new gadget sporting a 5 inch display, and a new design with no buttons on the case.
The handset is also believed to have a quad core processor and a 13 megapixel camera.

Jesus... Christ.
I long for the days when Apple and Samsung aren't trying to top each other and senselessly make pointless shit.

Having a thin phone really feels horrible. I mean, sure, thin is fine up to about 4.5 inches but from then on it feels too thin and too delicate. It's not necessarily the thickness of the handset that makes it portable, it's the size overall. People complained that the iPhone 5 was too thin and had horrid feeling edges. This is still thin too, and was one of the major reasons why I decided to go against buying a Galaxy Note 2. 2GHz is just ridiculous. My laptop runs at that. Sure we could consider this an advancement in technology but I'd rather work on innovative ideas such as that charging cloth thread karl posted some time ago, rather than making upgrades. The iPhone 5 is a good way to demonstrate how only 1.3GHz of power can run high graphic games on just that. Samsung need to stop being childish and make everything "better" than Apple when they can use their own ideas and do something unique.

And the difference is... Zero! Hooray! Updates for everything are like this too often.

about 20 years ago we more more innovative than just trying to out "inovate" our competitors. back in 1980 or around then someone invented the WORM (Writable Optic Reading Media) drive, which looked and operated similar to the little disk cartridges we see for the PSP except it litterally held 1gb when most hard drives only held a mere 30mb, it broke the 30mb limit and went far beyond that. plus considering it was just a CD in a cartridge it didn't scratch as easily but it also held 300mb more than most CD's in today's world. back then it cost, if I remember correctly, $15,000. You could say the WORM drive is the CD's ancestor.

If this is definitely on the horizon, then I am going to wait to upgrade my phone since I was going to get the S3 anyway

Looks like the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be revealed to the world officially on the 14th of March. I'd expect a world-wide release in May 2013, exactly one year after the Samsung Galaxy S3. Telstra seem to have got it in stock before May, check out the Telstra Galaxy S4 Plans (http://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/mobile-phones/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s4/).
