back acne - does sleeping without a shirt help or cause it?

so I have a mild case of acne on my back....I was just wondering if it's better to wear a shirt for it or not? My sheets & pillow cases get changed once a week.

The best thing I found is to use one of those acne facial scrubs on your back. I did that and it seemed to clear up pretty quickly, but it would come back as soon as I stopped using it.

I also heard it is better to wear a shirt, but a different one each day. If you're wearing the same one, or sleeping without a shirt, you risk the acne spreading to other parts of your back or body.
