Hi I was wondering if height is something that can be inherited from a grand-parent versus your birth parents.
I'm not anorexic and for a 5'2 skinny 18 year, everything is fit to my proportions but still... My family is small and I seem to be taking after my mom, dad, and grandfather, and aunt in the artsy side...
Sorry I know, random!
Mom is 5'0 was skinny until pregnancy
Dad is 6'4 Skinny until age 50
Grandfather was 5'5 Filled out out of his life
Aunt is 5'1 and filled out, artistic
Me 5'2 skinny and rather short for a guy
I seem to have taken my grandfather's approach. My dad was already 6 feet at 18 and wasn't very active, I am not the most active but I do tennis, run, swim in warmer weather and other things. But can it be that a child can take after a grand-parent and seem to ignore their parental genes? And can some behaviors be inherited or at least seem to have been?
Especially during puberty?
