Okay guys, here's the problem:
Me and my friends met this girl on xbox live. At first it was just another friend on the xbox but after a week or so she told us that she'd been raped and that she was cutting and had bulimia. Just tonight we talked her out of some suicidal thoughts but I'm worried for her. I feel like I've got to do something to help now that I know but I don't know what I can do because I don't know her in person. I'm scared that she might commit suicide if we fail to talk her out of committing.
What should I do?

Honestly, if you don't now where she lives or anything, the only thing you really can do is keep being there for her and helping her when she needs it. If you know where she lives, you can inform the authorities where she's from that she has been suicidal and see if you can get them to help, for her own safety. But if you don't know where she's from, well, you really have nothing else you can do. It sucks, and I know it does, that sometimes you don't know what to do, or have nothing that you really can do to help. Make sure she knows you care about her, and be there for her if she needs you. And, I'm only including this to cover all the ground, but keep in mind that someone online, or on Xbox Live, may not be who they say they are. While it's unlikely, if things get to sounding suspicious or if she starts contradicting herself, she could be making it up. I would NOT assume that though, in this situation, I would assume that she is telling the truth and as such help her as much as you can. I wish you good luck and hope the she starts getting better!

I don't think that she's lying partly because she talked to us on voice chat and the way she said it sounded honestly suicidal. I'll try my best to be there for her, I was in a similar situation a while back and it was absolutely awful.

It's so great to see that people care about others, even if they've only met via something like xbox live! Good for you mate, i'm sure she will appreciate your help. And no, there ain't much else you can do, but to try and talk with her. I'm not saying that doesn't help at all though, im sure it does.
