How do you guys normally dress and in what type of clothes?

I suppose I dress more on the "preppy" side. When it comes to pants, most of the time I wear slim fitting khakis. For shirts, I normally wear a regular button shirt, a button down flannel, a polo, or a t-shirt. For shoes, I wear Sperry's or boat shoes. I also obviously wear jeans and t-shirts with maybe a hoodie. I suppose I fit more into the "preppy" look.

How about you guys?

Usually, on a day to day basis at school and what not;

Plain black, grey or white t-shirt.
Plaid shirt or button down shirt.
Baggy jumper, usually my dads old stuff.
Black or grey skinny jeans.
Black canvas shoes.
Occasionally I'll wear a tie or bow tie.

If I'm at work;

Work shirt.
Black skinny jeans.
Plain black canvas shoes.

Really casual. Typically jeans or sweats and either a t-shirt or top, if it's cold, black hoodie. And flip flips unless it's snowing, in which case I wear converse.

I don't really know what you would describe my fashion sense, but how about this, Im a Converses type of guy you would find in Rue21. I will wear either skinny jeans or slim fit, with sometimes a snug fit shirt or regular fit shirt, Converses, bracelets, and a necklace. I will either wear a stripped shirt, graphic t-shirt, stripped or plaid button down shirt, or sometimes a collar shirt. I wear dark blue jeans, and I might start wearing some gray colored ones. I mostly wear Converses, which I love! I wear tons of rubber bracelets, and a few necklaces. I sometimes say Im the trendy type, but whatever you think my fashin sense is, let me know, haha :D

Im goth and I gotta say something and I need to give you a tip. First the tip.

To dress grunge and its technically not a style but moving on. To do real 90s grunge you got it down almost, jeans are good, Converse yes... Other shoes unless they are a old style ADIDAS dont work. Necklace is fine, but you gotta wear plaid shirt, and not a fancy one but plaid flannel now. And dont button it, and wear a blank or a band t shirt underneath, there you have it authentic grunge look!

Now the goth issue I have coming from a goth. Emo thing, well you got that down. Goth, youre sounding more punk. Goth, well real goth its really more complicated than wearing all black and being goth isnt bout the clothes. If you wanna do real goth its gonna be $$ not kidding. And we got many "types" of goths. I myself am more mainstream than say Victorian style. But if you want help on it cause its harder to listen PM me and I can tell ya cause we gotta figure out your style.

I live in New Zealand we don't have hot topics, I shop at k mart and thrift stores.

This thread is about what we wear day to day so my more Gothic outfits didn't make the list, what i listed is as close to goth as i come day to day. I know goth is more that clothes but clothes are what this thread is about. My personality is somewhere between goth and punk.

Nope i like being a hybrid.:P

I generally wear a plain v-neck under a cute cardigan, jeans during the winter, pleated skirt or shorts during the summer and some sort of wedge shoe whether it be a boot (winter) or sandal (summer). When we go out on the boat I will wear a pair of Sperrys and ditch the cardigan (or roll the sleeves up), or just put on a sundress if it's warm enough. I usually wear silver jewelry since I'm not a big fan of gold. On a really lazy day I'll wear sweatpants with the bottom rolled up to my knees and a hoodie. Honestly I have a lot of different clothes from every style so I wouldn't say any one article of clothing or stereotypical style defines me.

I don't classify how I dress I usually dress in something that brings out my silhouette, because I'm really skinny for a guy. But sometimes I'll wear a button up with a sweater and some khakis. Or tight jeans and a big shirt that's usually a size bigger than me. I have a really unusual style but I get complimented on it sometimes :)
