I just heard on the local news that police are investigating the SECOND shooting of 2013 in this city a few miles from me, where I'll be moving in March.

WARREN, Ohio - The sound of gun fire rang in the New Year in the city of Warren where police are now investigating the city's second shooting since the turn of the calendar.

Here's the article to the most recent one. (http://www.wfmj.com/story/20481239/police-invesitgate-second-shooting-since-new-year)

And the first one (http://www.wfmj.com/story/20478894/man-fatally-shot-at-sunset-lounge-in-warren)

This is just insane. It hasn't even been an entire day (it's 10pm) and there's already been two shootings in this town... My mom was at her fiance's house last night (in Warren) and said she heard guns going off all over the neighborhood. I'm honestly surprised more people didn't get shot. That makes at least 5 or 6 since August. Unbelievable. This isn't that huge of a city either. About 40,000 people I believe.

This sucks, this shit needs to stop.

There seems to be a lot of shootings lately, I think each shooting has somehow influenced the next one.
I don't know why, but there has been a shitload of crime since that Connecticut school shooting.
Crazy shit...

Yeah there has. Barely a week after that shooting someone from Jefferson (local school) threatened to bring a gun to school on facebook and got arrested. It's getting out of hand. I'm actually afraid to move in with my step dad, there were 3 or 4 shootings within a mile of his house this summer/fall. It's freaking scary.
